When did Devoted BB SHOP first open?
Devoted Barbers & Co first opened in September 2020.
What’s the core idea behind the name?
We decided to call our shop Devoted as we wanted a strong name that solidified our passion for barbering.
How did the idea start?
Madison, Robyn and I were all working locally paying a competitive chair rental price. We had all been in the industry for a while and thought it was time to branch out on our own, creating a safe space where we were free to express our individuality.
What has been the #1 biggest obstacle?
Opening during a pandemic -- with the closures and restrictions we weren’t sure how opening a business would go. We pushed through the uncertainty and here we are three years later, thriving!
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Our biggest accomplishment would be being able to provide a safe space for others to work in. We currently have one chair renter, Mitchell. Watching his skill set and clientele grow alongside us has been an incredible experience.
